Memory Verse: James 1:19
This week’s memory verse is from James 1:19.
I usually begin by memorizing, “Quick, Slow, Slow,” then the verse:
“…everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.”

Memory Verse: Genesis 1:1
This week's Memory Verse is the first sentence of the Bible, from the Book of Genesis, Chapter 1, Verse 1:
"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth."
My English teachers often stressed the importance of the first sentence of any book. The first sentence of the Bible is worthy to be memorized--especially by Presidential candidates. : )
